Devotees experience
In the year 2060 BS, through divine grace, I was blessed with the opportunity to witness the lingodbhava by Shree Sanjay Sai Baba. Having been a devoted follower of Shree Satya Sai Baba for the past 40 years, this was my second visit to the Shree Sanjay Sai Baba Ashram. At the time, I was filled with confusion, wondering whether Satya Sai and Sanjay Sai were one and the same.
During a bhajan session, I was unexpectedly asked to deliver a speech. I found myself in a dilemma. In front of me, on the stage, was a large photograph of Satya Sai Baba. In my uncertainty, I began to pray fervently: “God, if You are here in the form of Sanjay Sai Baba, please give me a sign by materializing vibhuti on this photograph.” To my amazement, within two minutes, two drops of vibhuti appeared on the photograph. These drops grew in size, transforming into the sacred Om shape, and soon vibhuti covered the entire photograph. Overwhelmed with emotion, tears rolled down my cheeks. In that moment, all my doubts vanished and I was fully convinced that Satya Sai Baba had manifested in Nepal in the form of Shree Sanjay Sai Baba.
Inspired by this divine experience, I composed the “Shree Sanjay Sai Dashakam” and humbly offered it at His divine lotus feet. Yet, I felt the need to express my devotion further, so I wrote the “Shree Sanjay Sai Baba Ashtottarshata Stotrapūpānjali.” When I presented this to Swamy, He graciously instructed me to document my personal experiences as well. This resulted in the publication of “Sai Avatar in Nepal,” which came to fruition shortly thereafter.
I firmly believe that Shree Satya Sai Baba continues His divine mission in Nepal through the sacred avatar of Shree Sanjay Sai Baba. On numerous occasions, Bhagwan Shree Sanjay Sai Baba revealed intimate details of my conversations with Satya Sai Baba during my interviews at Puttaparthi many years ago—details that were known only to me and Satya Sai Baba. These revelations further consolidated my conviction that Satya Sai Baba and Sanjay Sai Baba are indeed one and the same.
I feel truly blessed to have experienced darshan, sparshan, and sambhashan with these two divine avatars in this lifetime.
